Gitcoin Passport has launched Onchain Stamps to help projects defend against Sybil attacks.
According to official sources, Gitcoin Passport announced the launch of Onchain Stamps on September 1st. The aim is to seamlessly integrate with the Ethereum ecosystem. Onchain Stamps is built on the Ethereum Proof of Authority (EAS) service. It will be available on the OP mainnet and plans to expand Gitcoin Passport to other EVM-compatible chains. Through interoperable proof, projects can choose relevant proof to resist witch attacks and authorizations, thereby advancing the vision of a more interconnected and secure digital identity landscape.
