The CLARITY Act has incorporated the cryptocurrency fundraising cap proposed by Democrats, but it still faced a vote of opposition.

BlockBeats news, October 25 - U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, proposer of the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Act, posted that Democrats had requested to lower the annual fundraising cap for cryptocurrency regulation from $75 million to $50 million and add a lifetime cap of $200 million, and the relevant content has been agreed upon and written into the Cryptocurrency Market Structure Act (i.e., the CLARITY Act).

Lummis subsequently stated that Democrats still voted against this rule aimed at protecting retail investors.
