BlockBeats News, on June 21st, according to Business Times, Singaporean digital payment platform dtcpay announced the completion of a $16.5 million Pre-A round of financing, led by Pontiac Land Group Chairman Kwee Liong Tek, with participation from David Tung, former Managing Director/Partner of Carlyle Group, Jean Marc Poullet, Chairman of BURGESS Asia, Tham Sai Choy, former Senior Partner of McKinsey & Company, and former Chairman of KPMG Singapore and Asia Pacific. The funds from this round of financing will be further invested in product development, establishing stronger operational/infrastructure capabilities, and expanding dtcpay's global influence.
