AI Giants' Reactions After Meeting with Trump: Musk Calm and in Sync, Anthropic Co-Founder Tense and Nervous

BlockBeats news, September 30th, at 12:30 PM Eastern Time yesterday, Trump hosted a luncheon at the White House with executives from several artificial intelligence companies. Jensen Huang, Musk, Zuckerberg, as well as Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Anthropic co-founder and CEO Dario Amodei, and others attended. After the meeting, Trump and a group of American AI giants gave an impromptu interview with reporters.

Anthropic co-founder Dario Amodei once again brought up his previously proposed "slowing down AI development" argument (which conflicts with Trump's philosophy), stating: AI has enormous benefits, but the technology has real risks, and how to address them is still under discussion. He once again emphasized "we need to work together to ensure we can win safely."

During the interview, the community generally believed that compared to Musk's composed responses, Dario Amodei appeared overly nervous and tense. When introducing Dario Amodei to reporters, Trump said "Dario is great, whatever he says is okay." In response, Dario Amodei responded with a very obvious exaggerated laugh, then unnaturally withdrew his smile, lowered his head and said nothing, making the scene awkward for a moment.
