Tether has issued an additional 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network.

According to data from Whale Alert on June 12th, stablecoin issuer Tether issued 1 billion USDT on the Ethereum network at 15:56:47 today. Paolo Ardoino, the CTO of Tether, added that this was a transaction authorized but not yet issued on the Ethereum network, meaning that this issuance will be used for the next issuance request and on-chain interaction.
