The South Korean financial regulatory agency has temporarily suspended the processing of Gopax's registration change report involving Binance executives.
According to a BlockBeats report on June 7th, the Financial Services Commission of South Korea has suspended the review of Gopax's executive change report, which includes information about the appointment of three Binance members as internal directors of Gopax. Binance completed the final stage of acquiring Gopax in March and submitted it to the Korean financial regulatory agency. Gopax submitted a virtual asset operator change report to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Financial Services Commission. If the FIU accepts this change report, it will be the first case of a global cryptocurrency trading platform entering the Korean market through a Korean won trading platform. According to specific financial information laws, when a company representative or director changes registration, a change report must be submitted.
