Fantom has launched Gas monetization feature, where 15% of Gas fees will be rewarded to eligible dApps.

According to a BlockBeats report on May 29th, Andre Cronje, the founder of the public chain Fantom, announced on social media that Fantom has launched its Gas monetization feature, with a focus on Gas subsidies, social identity verification, FVM and new storage solutions for future development. As per the rewards claim page, Fantom's Gas monetization program rewards eligible dApps with 15% of the Gas fees generated, providing developers with additional income. This Gas monetization plan, according to previous reports, can introduce new sources of revenue and benefit the builder ecosystem on Fantom by monetizing the transaction volume generated by its dApps, using revenue models that have already been running in Web2 (ad monetization). This helps attract excellent developers to ensure healthy and sustainable network development.
