In the past 24 hours, the MEXC platform experienced a net outflow of $35.28 million, with a net outflow exceeding $120 million over 30 days.

BlockBeats news, November 7 - According to Defillama data, MEXC platform saw a net outflow of $35.28 million in the past 24 hours, with cumulative net outflows exceeding $120 million over 30 days. The platform's remaining total assets stand at $4.444 billion, currently ranking 9th on the CEX asset leaderboard.

In the past 24 hours, MEXC's trading volume reached $989 million, with a 24-hour trading volume decline of 27.3%.

Yesterday, the U.S. Treasury Department's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) ordered the severance of MEXC's ties with the U.S. financial system, prohibiting U.S. financial institutions from processing fund transfers involving MEXC. FinCEN alleged that MEXC processed at least $16 billion in funds related to sanctions evasion, cybercrime, and other illicit activities between May 2021 and May 2026, involving entities associated with Iran, North Korea, and Russia.

In response, MEXC stated that it has noted the relevant order issued by FinCEN and is currently closely reviewing it with its legal and compliance teams. MEXC said the platform is operating normally and user assets are safe. MEXC stated it will take the allegations seriously and plans to engage in constructive communication with FinCEN and other relevant regulatory authorities and competent bodies globally. Meanwhile, the platform has initiated an independent review of its own anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance measures and will continue to publish follow-up developments through official channels.
