GamesPad, a meta-universe gaming platform backed by Animoca Brands, has acquired animation and film and video production studio Mompozt for an undisclosed sum, globenewswire reported. Mompozt will be part of GamesPad's video production arm and its overall ecosystem, including the creation of NFT metaverse characters, among other things. As BlockBeats previously reported, GamesPad received a strategic investment from Animoca Brands last March.
