MetaMask integrates with Sardine and allows US users to buy cryptocurrencies directly from their bank accounts
Consensys has announced a partnership between Sardine, a financial platform for instant ACH settlement, and ConsenSys, according to the Consensys website on October 14th, BlockBeats reported. MetaMask now allows its U.S. users to buy cryptocurrency directly from the wallet interface using their bank accounts. MetaMask US users must go through Sardine's mandatory KYC process to purchase cryptocurrency with an ACH bank account, with a higher transaction limit than a traditional card.
As BlockBeats previously reported, Sardine raised $51.5 million in Series B funding in September, led by a16z, Visa, ConsenSys, ING Ventures, Cross River Digital, Eric Schmidt, and Google Ventures participated.
