The Hong Kong Polytechnic University offers Master of Science in Blockchain Technology and Master of Science in Yuzhou Yuan Technology

According to BlockBeats, on October 10, the official website of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) showed that the university has offered Master of Science in blockchain technology and Master of Science in Metaverse Technology. The enrollment time for both degrees will be September 2023. The Master of Science in Blockchain Technology programme is the first Master of Science in Blockchain Technology (MScBT) in Hong Kong. It highlights fundamental and up-to-date technologies that support fintech infrastructure and applications, particularly full-stack blockchains. It offers a range of topics on the design, development and security of blockchain-based financial applications, in line with the latest developments in blockchain technology. The Master of Science in Metaverse Technology (MSc MT) program will help students understand the nature of metaverse research and the metaverse industry, especially its interdisciplinary nature. Gain insight into the latest metaverse technologies, including VR/AR, game development, machine learning, decentralized infrastructure, cryptographic properties, computer vision, and AIoT (Artificial Intelligence Internet of Things). Leveraging these technologies to build metaverse applications that provide immersive experiences, bridge the gap between the real and virtual worlds, and understand the security, social, and ethical aspects of the metaverse enables creative reinvention or redefinition of the metaverse.
