Protocol productization is the general trend

BlockBeats: Storj, a decentralised storage network, announced a new product launch this month and began charging for its services.

In its report, the team says the project now has more than 4,000 volunteer sites, and the long-term contributions of supporters have kept it going. In the upcoming version, previously free users will no longer be able to use the web entirely for free.

BlockBeats has learned that the Storj network-based storage platform developed by Storj Labs, called Tardigrade, is already in trial operation.

In the report, the team mentioned a user recommendation program that allows active developers to earn storage and bandwidth points by recommending other developers to the platform. In addition, Beta accounts activated from the waiting list will receive 25 GB of storage and bandwidth per month for free on the platform. After the product launches, the first 10,000 developer accounts will also receive 1 TB of 30-day storage and bandwidth.
