Part of the ETH lock of Edgeware has been released, and the main network of the project is still not online

The six-month lockup period has expired, and the main network is not online yet.

BlockBeats news: on January 3, according to the announcement of a trading platform, during the Lockdrop Lockdrop activity conducted by Edgeware (EDG), the first cross-chain intelligent contract project of Polkadot ecosystem, the ETH of the Lockdrop for six months from June 16, 2019 to June 30, 2019 has expired, and all the locked ETH have been unlocked.

However, as the main network of Edgeware is not yet online, the official exchange ratio has not been determined, so the corresponding EDG airdrop has not been released.

It is learned that according to the original plan, Edgeware is scheduled to launch the main network on September 15, 2019, and the issuance of EDG tokens dropped by airlock will begin. However, due to various reasons, Edgeware experienced frequent problems after the main network was launched on the same day. On September 17, the official announcement said that the team decided to downgrade the main network that was launched two days ago to a test network, and all problems were "solved" and then went back online.

At the end of September, Edgeware officially announced that Edgeware would launch another test network. On November 14, Raymond Zhong, the team's co-founder, posted a blog post saying that he was working on fixing the online verifier Slash penalty problem and the storage root mismatch problem, and that the stable version of the test network would be available after the problem was fixed, while the Edgeware main network would probably be available by the end of November.

However, until now, Edgeware's main network has not been online. BlockBeats checked the official twitter account and found that on January 2, Bison Trails, an infrastructure platform, had announced support for validator nodes running on Edgeware, but the date of the latest primary network launch has not been announced.

Edgeware had previously relied on Lockdrop to get a cold start, but the project has not progressed as expected, with the ETH going from about $260 in June last year to $130 today, based on ethereum prices when users participated in Lockdrop.

In other words, investors attracted to the event have not only failed to receive the expected airdropped tokens, but have lost half their value in addition to losing liquidity.
