BitTorrent official changed airdrop info? Sun yuchen wants you to lock up for six years

On January 21, BitTorrent, which was acquired by wave field Tron, finally issued the official airdrop announcement, which showed that the BTT of BitTorrent would be in accordance with the airdrop ratio of TRX1:1. Not only did BTT make one airdrop, the announcement said, but it took six years to make a total of 73 BTT airdrops, including the first one due to begin in February. According to the understanding of the first sentence above, "all airdrops are 1:1", then each of the 73 airdrops will be 1:1.

Not only the authorities, but also many wave field bloggers on twitter retweeted the airdrop information and emphasized the 1:1 airdrop ratio.

The total circulation of wave field TRX is almost 9.9 billion, while the total circulation of BTT is 990 billion. TRX is 1% of the total volume of BTT, so the total volume of BTT can be completely covered with 73 airdrops. Everyone thought the benefits were good.

But BitTorrent reposted the announcement today, and the comparison revealed that officials had changed the airdrop information. The first airdrop ratio on February 11 was 1TRX: 0.11BTT.

A closer look at today's announcement reveals that it was not the official change in the airdrop information, but yesterday's announcement that was too misleading. BTT airdrop is not a simple 1:1 airdrop at all, but you have to wait 6 years to get the full 1:1 airdrop.

Add up the total of the 73 BTT airdrops over 6 years and you will find that they are almost identical to the total circulation of TRX. The first airdrop, on 11 February this year, accounted for 11%. The sixth year, 17%, adds up to almost 100%. In other words, your TRX must be held at each airdrop to receive a full BTT airdrop after 6 years.

The official wording of BitTorrent is highly misleading, leading the media and users to expect a 1:1 airdrop, at least for the first time, many of whom have already bought airdrops like TRX. The wave field is up another 10% today, or is that their strategy?
