How to Buy Robinhood Chain's New Mascot CASHCAT without Crossing Chains

Read this article in 4 Minutes
Silky Smooth far surpasses Cross-Chain DEX.

CASHCAT achieved a market cap of $100 million in just a few hours, bringing some attention to the Robinhood Chain. The flagship project has emerged, coupled with the recent bullish market trend. The future outlook for the Robinhood Chain is likely positive.

As it is a new chain, a quick community scan revealed that users are still facing some issues, with the most common being cross-chain problems. While some third-party cross-chain bridges already support the Robinhood Chain, most people opt for Robinhood's official cross-chain bridge for security reasons.

Our initial reaction might be that the official cross-chain bridge would provide the best experience. However, real-world testing showed otherwise, with cross-chain transactions taking over an hour, leading some to believe their funds were lost before eventually arriving. Quite frustrating.

After consulting some early Robinhood Chain adopters, a surprising discovery was made: foreigners use Opensea to interact with the Robinhood Chain.

Yes, it's the same Opensea known for NFTs, reluctance to launch its token, almost crashing its own valuation. Quite an unexpected twist.

In actual tests, they don't even need to perform cross-chain transfers; transactions occur instantly, providing a seamless experience.

Here's how it works:

No need to download the Opensea app; simply open your preferred wallet—virtually any wallet should work. We'll use Binance Wallet as an example.

In the bottom menu, select "Explore," then search for "opensea seaport" to enter Opensea.

Once inside, in the top right corner, connect your wallet by choosing the one you're currently using and follow the prompts.

After connecting, select the Robinhood Chain, locate your asset—let's use CASHCAT as an example—and click "swap." You can then directly perform cross-chain transactions using the assets in your wallet. Remember to set aside some funds for gas fees.

Cross-chain transactions should ideally be a basic feature in today's wallets. However, perhaps due to being a new chain or due to competition, there are not many wallets that support the Robinhood Chain, with Trust Wallet being one known option.

This approach eliminates the need to wait for cross-chain transfers, although there aren't many projects running on the Robinhood Chain yet. The choice of CASHCAT is due to a Robinhood executive mentioning that Robinhood was previously called Cashcat and the CEO also showing interest in Cashcat's X. Another notable example is GME. During the retail investors' battle with Wall Street, the Robinhood platform restricted the purchase of GME. Now that the chain is live, everyone wants to buy GME on Robinhood for payback.

NFA, have fun everyone.
