During the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, CertiK founder Ronghui Gu revealed in an interview with CBS that as the world's largest Web3 security company, CertiK is actively advancing its listing plans, striving to become the "first stock of Web3 infrastructure." This signal not only marks CertiK's own development entering a mature stage, but is also seen by the industry as an important signal of the Web3 industry moving towards institutionalization and standardization.
"The market is still eagerly awaiting the listing of Web3 native companies, especially infrastructure companies like CertiK," Gu Ronghui stated in the interview. "This will help the mainstream market to better understand and adopt Web3 technology, and also represents the recognition of traditional enterprises and mainstream industries."
It is reported that CertiK's listing plan has received the backing of strategic capital. In particular, a milestone investment recently completed by YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs) has established its position as CertiK's largest investor to date. The continued investment from such top-tier capital not only provides CertiK with ample expansion momentum, but also paves the way for its comprehensive deep dive into the institutional market.
As more traditional financial institutions and large enterprises explore Web3, security, transparency, and risk visualization have become prerequisites for entering this field. Gu Ronghui pointed out that Web3 is entering a new stage that requires "institutional-grade standards."
In this context, CertiK is focusing on institutional needs and has launched the enterprise security platform Skynet Enterprise. Designed to meet the needs of institutions and regulators for transparency, risk visibility, and data quality, this platform transforms complex on-chain activities into intuitive insights through real-time on-chain monitoring, alert systems, and analysis dashboards, helping to build a more resilient digital asset ecosystem. Currently, CertiK is closely collaborating with multiple regulatory bodies to drive the on-the-ground application of this platform, paving the way for compliance in the Web3 industry.
In the interview, Gu Ronghui also focused on the application direction of AI in Web3 security. Different from basic automation tools, CertiK deeply integrates AI into its self-developed Spoq engine, significantly enhancing the scalability and execution efficiency of the verification through empowering the core formal verification system. This cutting-edge research result has been validated at top academic conferences such as OSDI 2023 and ASPLOS 2026.
Building on this foundation, CertiK has been able to provide institutional-grade clients with mathematically secure guarantees. This practical approach of translating academic rigor into production-level tools highlights CertiK's core belief: security should be a result of genuine technical diligence, rather than a mere "trust badge."
Ronghui Gu expressed in an interview: "Many people are looking forward to CertiK's successful listing because this is not only crucial for CertiK but also for the entire Web3 industry." In his view, entering the public market is not only a natural progression for corporate development but also an inevitable step for Web3 to gradually integrate into the global financial system and gain global user trust.
From the global perspective of Davos, the signal conveyed by CertiK is becoming increasingly clear: Web3 is bidding farewell to edge innovation and moving towards a mature stage where it can be regulated, adopted by institutions, and subject to public market supervision.
