November 15th, blockchain detective @zachxbt stated on his social media platform that the lending protocol Lendora Protocol based on the Scroll network may have a "exit scam" and advised users to withdraw their assets immediately.

ZachXBT's reasoning is as follows:

1. The Lendora team's multi-signature received $83,000 from the Kokomo exit scam.

2. The exit scam of multiple users related to Kokomo and Bass Exchange in this agreement;

3. Use the same underlying security company Vital Block as the Magnate scam.

ZachXBT also stated that Lendora Protocol has been involved in other cryptocurrency-related scams, such as Magnate, Solfire, Hash DAO, Kokomo, Snowflake, with a total amount involved of over 16.2 million US dollars.

The latest news shows that the website of Lendora Protocol is now offline, and its official Twitter account has also been deactivated.

Lendora Protocol's account partially funded by Kokomo scam

It is reported that Lendora Protocol was launched on Scroll in early November. According to DefiLlama data, as of the time of writing, Lendora Protocol's TVL has reached $288,449.

In fact, according to the fund tracking path listed by zachXBT, some of the funds in the Lendora Protocol account address originated from the kokomo scam that occurred in the first half of this year.

On March 27th of this year, according to CertiK monitoring, the lending protocol Kokomo Finance (KOKO) experienced a Rug Pull, stealing approximately $4 million of user funds. Later on March 31st, Kokomo Finance (KOKO) stole all remaining $1.5 million funds by modifying the deployment contract, bringing the total Rug amount to $5.5 million.

Lendora Protocol involves multiple scams, and the underlying security company Vital Block is under scrutiny

除了 Lendora Protocol 资金的问题外,Lendora Protocol 还涉及到多次加密货币骗局,其中包括 Magnate、Solfire、Hash DAO、Snowflake 等。

Translation:

Aside from the issue of funds in Lendora Protocol, it has also been involved in multiple cryptocurrency scams, including Magnate, Solfire, Hash DAO, Snowflake, and others.

ZachXBT pointed out as early as August this year that the lending protocol Magnate Finance on BASE and SolFire "may exit the scam in the near future, and the deployer address directly links to SolFire's $4.8 million exit scam". Later, the Magnate Finance website could not be accessed normally, the Telegram group has been deleted, and the developer has also modified the oracle provider of the protocol and removed all assets since then.

Meanwhile, ZachXBT pointed out that there is a connection between Mangate Finance and Solfire's exit from the scam. He mentioned that the deployer of Mangate received funds from the same person behind Solfire's Rug Pull.

In addition, Vital Block, the institution that provides KYC services for Lendora Protocol, has also received attention because it has also provided KYC services for project parties such as Magnate.
