Loss of approximately $2.9 million.
According to BlockBeats news, on October 7th, according to official sources, friend.tech's simulated trading platform Stars Arena was hacked and its smart contract had a major security vulnerability. Currently, the official contract assets only have 2.83477 AVAX left. According to PeckShield monitoring data, the loss from this theft is about $2.9 million.

According to Coingecko data, AVAX has dropped more than 5% in the short term, possibly due to the impact of the Stars Arena theft. As of the time of writing, it is priced at $10.76 with a 24-hour gain narrowed to 4.30%.

Just one day ago, Stars Arena suffered from a vulnerability, which allowed anyone to steal AVAX tokens from the project's smart contract. Although the vulnerability was subsequently fixed and only a total of $2,000 was stolen, Stars Arena has lost the trust of its users after today's theft.

Community users have raised doubts about this, with some suggesting that it is a means for the project team to use rug funds.

Regarding the follow-up progress of the theft incident, BlockBeats will continue to pay attention.
