On September 12th, the personal biography of Elon Musk, "Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future," written by American biographer Walter Isaacson, was officially published. As the world's richest and most influential KOL, Musk has always maintained a subtle relationship with Dogecoin. Many industry insiders are curious whether the book will mention Dogecoin and, if so, in what form. According to BENZINGA, NewsBTC, TS2, and other foreign media, Musk does mention Dogecoin multiple times in this personal biography, even revealing many previously unknown "secrets," such as SBF giving advice to Musk and Musk personally funding the development of Dogecoin.

BENZINGA found four records about Dogecoin in the book.

Record 1: About Dogecoin and Twitter

The first record mainly focuses on the idea of integrating Degecoin into social media platforms. The original content is as follows:

Kimbal (Musk's brother) believes that his brother (Musk) should start his own social media platform based on blockchain technology. The platform could consider integrating payment systems, including Dogecoin. Elon is now deep in thought about this idea.

After lunch, Musk sent several text messages to Kimbal, detailing his vision for "a blockchain-based social media system that can be used for payments and can send messages like Twitter."

Because (the system) does not have a centralized server, there is no "choke point" that can be controlled, so freedom of speech can be guaranteed.

Musk continued to say that another alternative is Twitter, not just joining its board of directors, but directly acquiring it...

As can be seen from the previous text, Musk had a serious discussion with his brother Kimbal about the idea of integrating Degecoin into social media platforms. While Kimbal first proposed the idea, Musk provided a more detailed analysis.

However, this idea ultimately failed to materialize, so Musk chose to acquire Twitter as an alternative solution.

Record 2: Suggestions on SBF

Nowadays, the notorious SBF has had dealings with Musk and even suggested that Musk restructure Twitter. The original text is as follows:

The other person who is eager to participate in this transaction (acquisition of Twitter) is Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of the now-defunct cryptocurrency trading platform FTX. He believes that Twitter can be reconstructed based on blockchain technology.

Musk has discussed using blockchain as the underlying technology for Twitter with Kimbal and others. However, despite his interest in cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin, Musk is not a proponent of blockchain technology. Musk believes that blockchain is too slow to support Twitter's fast-paced content frequency.

As can be seen from the previous text, on the road of using blockchain to reform social media, SBF had suggested a more radical approach to Musk, but Musk remained skeptical about the processing efficiency of blockchain today and did not adopt the suggestion.

Record 3: About "Real Doge"

Musk just sent his private jet to pick up his newly purchased Shiba Inu named Floki, which happens to be the image of Dogecoin's logo.

Musk also brought his other dog Marvin, but Marvin and Floki didn't get along well. Neither of them were trained to relieve themselves at home, which turned Maye's apartment (Musk's mother) into a two-bedroom circus.

The book mentions that Musk really likes Floki. Once, he flew from Texas to New York to participate in a charity event and even brought Floki along to stay in Grimes' (Musk's ex-girlfriend) mother's small apartment.

Record 4: About Dogecoin Elements in Daily Life

...Kimbal helped organize a drone show, with images displayed in the night sky including Nikola Tesla, the father of alternating current, the Dogecoin logo, and an electric pickup truck Cybertruck...Celebrities in attendance included Harrison Ford, Spike Lee, and NFT artist Beeple.

Other Records: About Supporting the Development of Dogecoin

Other than the four direct records from BENZINGA, NewsBTC and TS2 also discovered that Musk admitted to funding the development of Dogecoin in the book, as author Isaacson described it as "a semi-serious cryptocurrency that he (Musk) had been quietly funding the development of."

Summary

In short, the description of Dogecoin does appear multiple times in Musk's biography, but objectively speaking, it does not occupy too much space.

This is not difficult to understand. Musk's personality charm comes from his innovation and pioneering ability in multiple cutting-edge fields such as new energy, aerospace, and brain-computer interaction. As for how he views Dogecoin, Isaacson's "semi-serious" description may be the most appropriate.

Looking ahead to the future, Musk will undoubtedly continue to mention Dogecoin frequently due to personal preference, but whether or not it will be integrated into specific business operations is something that no one can predict.

After all, who can predict Musk.
