Why is Web3 composability important?

Blockchain, decentralized storage, DID, NFT, DAO empower digital citizens, making Web3 naturally capable of breaking monopolies and infinitely open composability. After experiencing the outbreak of the previous bull market and the silence of the bear market, Ethereum and other public chains that have successfully completed the Shanghai upgrade are advancing towards modular blockchain evolution. Coupled with the explosion of AIGC, the composability of Web3 is becoming more and more practical and feasible.

Carry on the Web3 Composability Odyssey to the end

Following last year's August Dali Wa Cat Summer and October San Francisco Blockchain Week Odyssey events, we will continue to hold the Web3 Composability Odyssey at EDCON 2023, inviting global founders, builders, creators, and researchers of underlying protocols, middle-layer services, upper-layer applications, DAOs, and NFT projects to gather through various activities to share insights, incubate ideas and innovations on the infinite possibilities and prospects of Web3 composability from technology to application.

EDCON (Ethereum Community Development Conference) is a non-profit global annual conference for Ethereum, held once a year in different countries (EDCON 2017 in Paris, 2018 in Toronto, 2019 to 2021 online, and 2022 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco). EDCON is committed to serving the Ethereum ecosystem and promoting communication and interaction among the global Ethereum community.

The upcoming EDCON 2023 will be a five-day event that brings together experts from the Ethereum field to discuss the latest developments and trends in Ethereum technology, as well as explore the potential of Ethereum-based solutions for various business and societal challenges. In addition to speeches and group discussions, the event will also provide opportunities for networking with like-minded professionals and learning from industry experts.

How to leverage Web3 composability

Activity 1: VIRTUAL TALK: Sharing Views and Ideas on Web3 Composability

• Content: Relevant projects and builders are invited to participate in a series of online exchanges to share ideas and thoughts on Web3 composability.

Activity 2: ON 1 INTERVIEW: Exploring Web3 Composability

• Location: EDCON 2023 on-site and remote connection.

• Translation: Selected interviewees are invited to conduct podcast or video interviews.

Activity 3: RANDOM WORKSHOP: Developing Web3 Composable Collaboration

• Content: Spontaneously hold workshops to connect and collaborate among Web3 builders.

• Content: Group discussions on specific topics to promote composable collaboration in Web3.

• Content: Building a social network for Web3 builders to communicate and establish trust.

Activity 7: BADGE & NFT: Apply for participation badges, record achievements on the chain

• Content: Participants of both online and offline Odyssey events are eligible to apply for the on-chain badge issued by Social Layer Design. Holding the participation badge online and offline can be used to mint NFTs for Odyssey DAO in the future.

Odyssey DAO Launches Host

Based on the community and influence of M7e Metaverse Special Forces, Odyssey DAO was recently established, dedicated to building a cryptocurrency community that calls on digital citizens to build a self-governing metaverse that belongs to everyone. The Odyssey event was launched and made its debut for the first time.
