After three months of silence, OpenSea's acquisition of Gem and vasa, Gem's lead developer, has been driven by the loss of market share by rival Blur, and this week opened Gem V2 private beta to the community.

What is a Gem?

1. Gem V2 has more NFT market: Supports over 170 NFT markets including Blur, OpenSea, LooksRare, Rarible, X2Y2, Zora, CryptoPunks, ENSVision, Manifold, nftx, sudoswap, etc. Check out the support list if you are interested.

2. Richer and more detailed data statistics: V2 supports shorter data periods, such as 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, and 6 hours, on the home page. Data such as floor price and volume change charts, floor price depth, most active traders, whales, etc. are also more visible in a single NFT series.

Five ($22) will cost about 90 percent less than the V1 ($222). However, Blur's on-shelf Gas is a bit cheaper than Gem's, at Gas 22. In the case of Blur, OpenSea and LooksRare, an NFT costs about $1.80.
