Lori Lightfoot, Chicago's mayor, also praised FTX's plans: "FTX's pilot scheme ensures that residents from selected minority backgrounds have steady access to cash assistance, financial services and financial education. I am truly grateful to FTX and EAT for working together to make the post-COVID-19 recovery more equitable and inclusive."

芝加哥大学国家舆论中心发现，持有加密货币的人口中有 44% 是少数族群。亚裔、非裔、西班牙裔美国人都比白人更有可能参与加密市场。
