Dialogue GuildFi: New developments in game guilds for 2022

Why is GuildFi, which brings together games, communities, and NFT assets, more than just a guild?

On April 7, Arnav, the marketing director of GuildFi, introduced GuildFi's guilds to the audience with the theme of "New Development of GuildFi in 2022", including the situation, size, profit model and advantages compared to other guilds, and shared his views on the future development of chain game guilds.

GuildFi is an interconnected ecosystem games guild that brings together games, communities, and NFT assets. The idea is to create an interconnected triad to maximize the benefits of players and achieve interoperability across the meta-universe. In GuilFi, players can participate in quality games funded by guilds, play different modes, use guild tools, earn guild rewards, and more.

BlockBeats: Please tell me a little about yourself. How did you get into GameFi?

Arnav:Hi, I'm GuildFi Intern, the marketing director of GuildFi. I have been working in the cryptocurrency industry for the past 4 years and have also been on the GuildFi team. Initially, our team focused on community building in Thailand. We had already built the largest network and community in Thailand, and we thought it was time to give the network more support. We know thais love to play games, so we decided to incorporate the GameFi concept into their games, and we also realized that a lot of people couldn't play because of a lot of barriers. To compensate for this, we decided to use guild mode for support. Although we are more than a guild, this is what brought us to GuildFi.

BlockBeats: GuildFi is a new organization. Can you introduce GuildFi? Guild size and profit model?

Arnav:GuildFi is a Web3 ecosystem of games, NFT, and communities designed to maximize player benefit and interoperability across the Metaverse. Your journey through GuildFi will allow you to discover games, select guilds, leverage game tools and increase revenue, depending on how well players perform and engage with the different games in Metaverse.

BlockBeats: As mentioned earlier, GuildFi's goal is to get more people involved in games. There are many ways to participate in the GameFi space. Why a game guild?

Arnav:We initially decided to form a gaming association because we had already built a very large crypto and gaming community in Thailand, the second largest gaming country in the SEA. It made the transition to the guild easier, where we could support our community. However, this was not sustainable in terms of SLP prices, so we decided to focus on the gaming platform as the core while building as large a gaming community as possible, not just a gaming guild.

BlockBeats: GuildFi also has GuildFi ID and GXP, which are more social. Why is it designed like this?

Arnav:The GuildFi ID is an ID for all your metasverse journeys, like a passport. It tracks your performance and participation in different games in the metasverse. You can connect and register for the game. If your game experience meets certain achievements set by the guild, you will receive additional rewards.

This is like the quest system in most traditional games on the market. GF Token is a representation of the meta-cosmic index that provides benefits to GuildFi members and determines the governance of GuildFi. Players can earn GXP by participating in games on GuildFi to complete tasks, and can then benefit from token rewards and NFT Metdrop distributions in many ways. GXP will also help upgrade the system and determine the player's level.

BlockBeats: There are GuildFi guilds in traditional games, and there are other guilds in chain games. What do you think are the advantages of GuildFi compared to them?

Arnav:GuildFi supports all game developers. We are happy to talk to anyone who has any suggestions for cooperation. GuildFi has a full legal and compliance team looking at all this information. At GuildFi, we are more than just a guild, which is why I don't think we have any real competitors in the market, even though we are often compared to YGG or MC. But as I said, GuildFi is not just a guild.

BlockBeats: STEPN is very popular recently. Would you classify STEPN as GameFi? Will guilds participate in STEPN?

Arnav:Sports making money is an interesting trend these days. We thought there should be an Angle that would be compatible with people's preferences and that a group of people would be interested in. Now that we have invested in Genopet, please continue to follow our social media for the next arrangement.

BlockBeats: Can you introduce the economic model of Token GF? What is the value of GF?

In the near future, not only will guild members be rewarded with their GF Tokens, they will also be rewarded with revenue enhancements across the guild ecosystem such as extra Experience points (GXP), access tools, Metaddrop Launchpad distribution, and more.

Investing in GF Tokens can be considered a proxy for the success of investing in the metasomes. The value of GF comes from:

- Revenue from future P2E games

- The game earns revenue from guild and scholarship businesses

-NFT Sales and IGO(initial game product)

-NFT asset value and income generated by different investments

- NFT asset lending across ecosystems

BlockBeats: The emergence of the epidemic is considered to be the main reason for the emergence of this chain game. The higher income than real work attracts people to work in the blockchain game world. But what if the epidemic ends? How can a guild keep its members?

Arnav:Our vision is that blockchain games are not yet finalized, and their final form will be no different from traditional games. Gamers were here before the pandemic and will be here long after -- and we expect blockchain-based games to do the same.

BlockBeats: Where are the guilds going? Are there any barriers?

Arnav:The work is going well and everything is going according to plan. We expect more projects to become part of our METDrop in the near future and our pledge will complement this.

BlockBeats: What are GuildFi's immediate plans?

Arnav:In the future, we plan to continue to improve the entire ecosystem. We plan to release pledges and multiple features in the near future, as well as bringing the best games and guild partners to improve our ecosystem.
