Regarding the future vision of EOS, I think it is becoming a DAO of DAOs, new users will not need to pay for accounts, and countless people will contribute to the ecology through.

After several twists and turns, the community unanimously decided to stop submitting to the parent companyBlock.one released tokens and parted ways completely with it, the EOS ecosystem began to develop in EOS Leadership of the Network Foundation (ENF) and founder Dan Larimer (BM) Next, refactor, rebuild, and redesign.

BM is known as the father of the EOSIO architecture and the EOS network. In January 2021, BM left Block. One due to disagreements and other reasons. After resigning, BM has been an active and independent member of the EOS community. In Block. One, the poor management of the EOS network caused public outrage in the community. In the end, the community chose to cooperate with Block.One. When One split, BM also often posted his views and suggestions on the matter on social media.

As a representative of community opinions, the EOS Network Foundation’s many initiatives on ecological development have received very positive support from the community Respond, and successfully won the power to manage the future of EOS. Based on this, BM, the founder of EOS, recently announced that he will cooperate with the ClarionOS team led by him to develop the Mandel code base, which will replace the old code base of EOS.

The dispute between the EOS Network Foundation and Block. One has ended, and the EOS ecosystem has unanimously decided to stop payments to Block. One from December 8, 2021 Unreleased block rewards, the EOS Network Foundation has directly obtained 21 million US dollars of funds from the EOS community for ecological construction in the past few days, all of which represent the final statement of the leadership of the EOS Network Foundation in the EOS ecosystem .

BM comes after the EOS software has been stagnant for a long time: on the one hand, the EOS blockchain has basically Remains the same, with some minor upgrades; on the other hand, the initiatives announced by Block. One that were supposed to contribute to the growth of EOS never really materialized. This has a bad impact on the development of the EOS ecology.

Now, BM joins With this revolution, we are working together to completely separate the EOS platform from Block. One for independent development, and quickly enter a new era.

BM and his team will fork the EOSIO codebase into a new repository called Mandel. To maintain flexibility, there will initially be two major upgrades:

Mandel 2.3 release: guaranteed Nodes that have been upgraded to EOSIO 2.1 and EOSIO 2.2 can seamlessly upgrade to Mandel 2.3 and keep in sync with the Mandel 3.0 mainnet.

Mandel 3.0 release: screening some valuable code from EOSIO 2.1 and EOSIO 2.2, At the same time, functions such as contract payment and enhanced configurable blockchain parameters are introduced to form the first Mandel 3.0 version.

Mandel 3.0 beta version will be released on January 31, 2022, such an efficient development process, not only from The efforts of BM and his Clarionos team are also due to the 200,000 EOS funding provided by the EOS Network Foundation, which will be used to support the development and continuous optimization of Mandel 3.0.

For rebuilding the EOS ecology, ENF leader Yves La Rose said:

“Taking over the EOSIO codebase is a top priority for ENF and working with Dan Larimer, the original architect of the EOS software, was a no-brainer is the first step towards this goal. Since resigning from Block. One a year ago, Dan Larimer and the ClarionOS technical team he led have been key active members of the EOS community.

With the concerted efforts of the team and the rest of the EOSIO family, we will end the technical stagnation that EOS has suffered under the leadership of Block.One."

BM also added to this cooperation:

“The Mandel code fork is the shortest path to EOS independence, the first step in a long-term plan to revitalize EOS. I am very happy to cooperate with ENF, for EOS I have never been more optimistic about the future of EOS.

As for the future vision of EOS, I think it is becoming a DAO of DAOs , new users will not need to pay for the account, and countless people will be rewarded by contributing to the ecology or inviting more members who are willing to contribute to the community.”

Under the powerful combination of ENF and BM, the independent development of EOS has been successfully launched, and we look forward to more exciting performances of the EOS ecosystem in the future.

About EOS

The EOS network was officially launched in June 2018. It is a decentralized platform based on blockchain technology. Developers can develop, host and run business applications or dApps based on the EOS network. Previously, Block.one, the parent company of EOS, raised $4.1 billion in the community through the EOS ICO and developed the EOS open source software EOSIO. At the end of 2021, due to Block. One's long-term inaction, the EOS ecological development stopped. The EOS community unanimously decided to stop releasing tokens to Block. One, and developed independently from Block.One. The EOS Network Foundation (ENF), which represents the opinions of the EOS community, took over The development of EOS promotes EOS to become a blockchain fully managed by the community.
