As 2021 draws to a close and 2022 begins, let's take a look back at Ankr's 2021 highlights and achievements.

Ankr RPC became the fastest RPC layer among the eight blockchains

In October 2021, we released the long-awaited Ankr protocol: a complete public endpoint platform that helps developers in more than 100 countries easily interact with the eight most popular blockchains and access the data needed to build DApps in a fully decentralized and open manner.  

The release of the Ankr protocol created important new utilities for $Ankr, and our community responded enthusiastically.

The acquisition of Fantom Tools RPC became an important addition to the Ankr product line and one of the most popular RPCS on our platform. Between October and December 2021, Ankr's https://rpc.ftm.tools  onReceived over 179 billion calls and over 3.5 billion requests per day!

The Erigon client significantly improves BSC performance

Ankr has worked closely with the Binance ecosystem for many years. In December 2021, we took the most important step to date with our collaboration with the Erigon client, an upgrade that significantly improves BSC's data storage efficiency and performance.

With the Erigon client, we reduced the disk storage of the BSC archive node from 17TB to 1.2TB. This creates synchronization speeds of more than 10 blocks per second, enabling a full boot of the archive node within 3 days.

AnkrScan is online, providing 11 chain query services

Ankr's mission is to provide the best multi-chain developer tools to help developers quickly and easily build Web3 projects and products through Ankr. We found that there was a lack of an independent tool in the market that could track all the on-chain transactions developers were building, so we launched Ankrscan, an 11-chain browser that provides a one-click view of wallet addresses, transaction hases, and block information across multiple blockchains.

With the Sacramento Kings

Ankr is proud to have a multi-year partnership with the NBA's Sacramento Kings! In 2022, we will continue to promote crypto education through the production of blockchain educational content, events and innovative projects. In addition, the Kings' home court at Golden 1 Center has Ankr branding on every bottom line, and you'll see Ankr at every game.

  Twitter gained 153,000 followers

Our followers are growing by the thousands every month, and we've broken our own records many times this year. Ankr now has more than 150,000 followers on Twitter.

ANKR's successful launch on Gemini, Coinbase and Binance US is a testament to our efforts in the Web3 space. In the future, ANKR will continue to focus on the construction and development of Web 3.0, providing scalable plug and play multi-chain solutions for blockchain development.
