Rollups 作为一种 Layer2 技术，在继承了以太坊主网安全性的同时改善了交易吞吐量和交互费用，它们旨在于费用、安全性、可用性三者之间找到平衡。

Optimistic Rollups 通过将计算和数据存储从以太坊主网迁移到新网络上来实现这一点，只有计算的证明被批量打包成交易，存储在以太坊主网上。

这些证明可用于重建 Rollups 上的状态以及让用户对可疑交易提出异议。

通过将许多的证明批量打包到一笔交易中，可以大大降低 EVM 的交互费用。

现在，Arbitrum 和 Optimism 这两个代表性的 Optimistic Rollups 都受到了限制，人为地限制了 Gas 的节省。

在以太坊用户的规模继续变大后（及 ETH 价格继续上涨时），Optimistic Rollups 的交互成本也会随之上升，仍然可能超出用户的接受范围。
