Earlier, FTX announced that Ryan Salame is the new CEO of FTX Digital Markets and will lead their local deployment plans in the Bahamas. In addition, FTX Digital Markets will expand its presence in the country to support both expatriate and local staff.

FTX is the first well-known crypto company to withdraw from Hong Kong due to quarantine regulations

The FTX Taiwan Dollar FTT appeared to respond positively to the news of the company's move from Hong Kong, rising 6.6% to $60.53 in the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
