FTX and FTx.us today (8) announced a long-term partnership with NBA star Stephen Curry. Curry will take an equity stake in FTX Trading Limited (FTX) and serve as a brand ambassador for FTX, as well as being paid in cryptocurrency for part of his salary.

Stephen Curry is the star point guard for the NBA's Golden State Warriors, a three-time NBA champion and two-time MVP who is also a philanthropist and entrepreneur.

Under the deal, Curry will act as a brand ambassador for FTX, using her charisma to enhance FTX's brand and reach new audiences.

FTX has already signed partnerships with NFL stars Tom Brady and Trevor Lawrence this year, and Curry's addition adds to FTX's brand credibility as a platform for buying and trading cryptocurrencies, NFT and other digital assets.

FTX has also pledged to donate $500,000 a year to Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry's Eat.Learn.Play non-profit foundation and will work together on charitable activities.

Eat.learn.Play aims to help children in the community to have a happy and healthy childhood. It starts from three aspects: nutritional food, education and sports education.
