Decentraland has announced that it will integrate an Ethereum sidechain expansion scheme. Each transaction has a cap on how much capacity we have on the Ethereum sidechain. Polygon, which supports seamless transfer of Mana tokens between Ethereum and Polygon, and supports using Transak as a fiat gateway entry.
Once deployed, users will be able to claim, buy, sell, and trade gear on Polygon "without transaction fees."
The reason for this is that since the Gas fees provided by Polygon are already very low, the DAPS on Decentaland will be integrated into bicomonomy.io for metacartrading. When users want to trade on Polygon, they can simply provide a digital signature through their wallet.
It's worth noting that the ability to move assets to Polygon is only officially disclosed so far, but the full effect won't be seen until all components are updated to support transactions on Polygon, which is expected to happen in May.
