Injective Equinox pre-staking officially initiated

So Injective would initiate Equinox Staking with governance by the end of March

Equinox pre-staking will continue over the next few days. So Injective would initiate Equinox Staking with governance by the end of March.

How to do Equinox pre-staking

This guide will help you start Injective for Equinox Testnet.

Note: Operating Staking requires that you use a MetaMask signature authorization.

Make sure your browser has the MetaMask wallet plug-in installed. (Download: https://metamask.io)

1. Navigate to http://staking.injective.network

2. Click the "MetaMask" option to connect your wallet. Connecting to MetaMask will give you access to the Staking operation interface, where you'll be able to pre-stake INJ tokens and start earning rewards.

3. Click to complete the MetaMask signature request.

4. Once the Staking interface is connected and loaded, click the Stake button in the title.

5. Click the unlock button on the Stake page to approve the transfer of the ERC-20 INJ token to the Injective.

6. MetaMask will open automatically and ask you to approve the transaction. Please click OK.

Note: Depending on the Gas rate you choose with the transaction and the current load on the Ethereum network, the transaction may be completed quickly or it may take a few minutes. If the approval process takes a long time, you might want to try refreshing the page or consider paying more Gas to speed up the transaction.

7. Once the transaction is completed on ethereeum, the "Stake" page will display a table where you can enter the number of ERC-20 INJ tokens you want pre-staking.

Note: Pre-staking requires locking your INJ for 7 days. If you choose to redeem the token before Equinox Staking is completed, you cannot get a reward for Staking.

8. Enter your pre-staking amount, then click the Stake button

9. Specific information will appear to confirm your pre-staking. Pay attention to see if the information is ready, and then click the Stake button to confirm.

10. At this point, MetaMask will open and ask you to approve the transaction. Please click OK.

Once your transaction is confirmed on ethereum, the transaction will appear in the total Staking amount, which would take approximately 1 minute to appear.

At this point, the token has been pre-staking and is beginning to earn the 15% base APY yield.
