Brave is partnering with Gala Games to hold the 'Town Star' tournament and will launch a co-branded NFT collectible

In November 2020, Brave had partnering with Gala Games to support Gala Games' upcoming epic fantasy game 'Mirandus'. The Gala Games platform will support Bat tokens as well as a limited set of 100 Brave X Gala Games Minotaur King crystal physical NFT to be sold exclusively in the Brave SWAG store. The Tauren King collectibles were well received by Brave and Mirandus fans and sold out in a matter of weeks.

BAT will hold the "Town Star" tournament

This time, Brave and Gala Games are working together again to bring fans an unprecedented BAT tournament in Gala Games' "Town Star". "Town Star" is a blockchain-based agricultural simulation game created by one of the founders of Zynga and some of the creative minds behind "FarmVille" and "Words With Friends."

In "Town Star," players become city planners who build a Town themselves from scratch and compete with players from around the world to earn NFT and Gala Coins.

The BAT tournament will start on Tuesday, March 16, and participants will have seven full days to build the Town at "Town Star". Brave is sponsoring the contest and is offering BAT prizes worth about $5,000, and players need to have at least 20 BAT in their Gala Games account to compete.

At the end of the competition, the BAT prize pool will distribute the prize money to the top 20 players according to the setting. The prize money will be sent directly to the winner's Gala Games account.

Brave users can watch ads to earn BAT tokens and make in-game item purchases directly in Splinterlands. Users with Uphold authenticated wallets can transfer the BAT directly from Uphold to their Gala Games account, while users who wish to use the BAT held by their Ethereum address can transfer it to their Gala Games account from there with other crypto wallets.

Brave and Gala Games will announce their second upcoming Brave X Gala Games entity NFT collaboration. A limited number of Brave and 'Town Star' themed physical NFT will then be sold exclusively in the Brave Swag store
