Brave, a privacy browser built by former Mozilla CEO Brendan Rich, has launched a WayBack Machine that allows users to search for lost web pages in the Internet Archive on pages that have been removed or are unavailable for some reason, according to cnBeta.
According to the report, the principle behind the skill is not complicated, except that Brave allows archived pages to be loaded with one click when the browser encounters a 404 error. In addition to 404 errors, the Brave browser can also cover 408, 410, 451, 500, 502, 503, 504, 509, 520, 521, 523, 524, 525 and 526.
Over the past 23 years, the Wayback Machine has archived 900 billion urls and 400 billion web pages, adding hundreds of millions of archived urls every day, so the odds of a one-click rescue are pretty good.
