Decentralized cloud service Akash Network has launched Main Network 2, which will provide decentralized cloud computing market and other functions

Akash Network is a decentralized cloud available as an alternative to centralized cloud service providers such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

Akash Network successfully launched Akash Mainnet 2, the first open source cloud and currently the only available decentralized cloud to replace centralized cloud service providers such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

Akash Mainnet 2 enables developers to free themselves from the constraints of traditional cloud infrastructure, and gives developers and companies the ability to decentralize their cloud infrastructure and deploy applications faster, more efficiently and at lower cost, thus accelerating the growth and scale of the blockchain ecosystem.

Through the Akash platform, individuals, companies, and data centers will be able to monetize computing resources, rent out their cloud computing resources to those who need it, and recoup the high cost of server maintenance and capital expenditures. Recently, Akash announced an integration with Equinix Metal, the world's largest provider of data centers and hosting, with 220 data centers in 25 countries, to provide globalization, low latency and high performance for access to cloud infrastructure.

For the first time, developers will be able to launch applications such as Defi applications, blogs, games, data visualization, block browsers, blockchain nodes, and other blockchain network components on a decentralized cloud. Akash has announced the completion of integration and collaboration with Tendermint, Cosmos, ICF (Cosmos Cross-Chain Foundation), IBC (Cross-Chain Protocol), Solana, Kava, and Chainlink.
