Web3 Foundation Announces the Eighth Grant Project List

Rhythm BlockBeats news, recently, The Web3 Foundation announced the eighth Grant project list, covering developer tools, wallets/interfaces, New runtime modules and dapps, plus validator monitoring, alerting and deployment tools, and more.

The grants from the Web3 Foundation are now in their second year, with more than 60 grants from the General Grants Program in the first year. The following year, the Foundation added its Open Grants Program, more than doubling that number, for a total of 147 grants.

Officially, The Grant program will remain open in 2021 and continue to work towards further improvements. For example, the possibility of stablecoin payments was recently added to the Open Grants Program, along with subsequent grants of up to $100,000 (paid in Bitcoin or DAI). According to previously published information, in September last year alone, W3F funded 20 projects, setting a new record for a single month. Just two months later, another record monthly signing grant was set. In November last year, W3F funded 27 projects, which means that a grant is signed almost every day.
