Polkadot co-founder: Parachain test network Rococo-V1 is up and running

Registration of parachains open to the community will not be until early next year (no earlier than January 4th).

Rhythm BlockBeats news, on December 23, Polkadot co-founder Robert issued a document confirming that the parachain test network Rococo-V1 has been launched and running. Rococo is a public testnet, jointly maintained by Parity Technologies and the Polkadot developer community, designed to test the parachain consensus process itself and the parachains built by the community, as well as the interaction between them.

The Polkadot team introduced the latest version of Rococo-V1 based on the parachain consensus, the same code Will run on Polkadot and Kusama. The parachain V1 version of the code base is production-ready code for parachain consensus, and it differs from Rococo V0, which was launched earlier this year, by including parachain mechanisms and a more robust and scalable software architecture.
