According to Rhythm BlockBeats, on October 22, Consent Sys announced a full partnership with Protocol Labs. The partnership aims to integrate Protocol Labs' Filecoin with various aspects of Ethereum. The integration includes the DeFi protocol, the Web3.0 portal Metamask, and other products and projects of the consensus.
Codefi Activate, the platform on which Talsys launched their new blockchain network, has released Filecoin Storage, a tool to view Storage prices on Filecoin. It also starts the Filecoin DeFi bridge to convert FIL into ERC20 tokens. According to the release, "Once inside the Ethereum network, holders and miners will be able to deposit their FIL as collateral in the DeFi loan market to earn interest or borrow more FIL to store their digging business."

Ethereum Light Wallet MetaMask is now developing Filecoin Snap. The company says doing so allows MetaMask users to trade FIL. Protocol Labs raised $205 million in 2017 to start Filecoin. But Filecoin's main website has been controversial ever since it went online. Token prices peaked at $114, but were well above the IC0 high of about $5 before falling all the way down. At press time, the unit price was $25.7, down 11% on the day.
