According to Cointelegraph, developer Jong Seok Park claimed to have found a governance flaw in The SushiSwap code, which appears to be vulnerable to a vulnerability that can double someone's governance ability without needing to get a new token. Jong Seok Park says the vulnerability is described as governance double-spend.

In an interview, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), interim head of SushiSwap, confirmed the existence of the vulnerability. But the SBF also points out that there will be no direct consequences for SushiSwap as governance has not yet been initiated. In addition, the SBF said that the issue could be resolved without moving the project to a new contract and that the team was "still working on it."
By the evening of September 7, SushiSwap's migration code was reported to have been completed. Barring any surprises, it would take an hour to start, which means about 40 hours to start the migration.
