In a BlockBeats update, Twitch, a video streaming platform, announced that users will be able to get 10% off subscriptions using the cryptocurrency payment platform.
Twitch officials say the platform currently supports BTC, ETH, BCH, and LTC cryptocurrencies.
Twitch was acquired by e-commerce giant Amazon in 2014 for $1 billion. The two co-founders were partners at Y Combinator, a top Incubator in Silicon Valley. Twitch focuses on live games and currently has 3.8 million UP hosts on the platform.
Twitch provided a cryptocurrency payment channel in 2014, which was cancelled in Q1 2019, but it has been online again since June of the same year. (Coindesk)
