If prices remain unchanged by the end of September, the order will be worth more than RMB200m

Blockchain solution provider Core Scientific announced recently that it has reached an agreement to purchase 17,595 ant mining machines from Bitut in the next four months. The S19 is currently officially priced at 14,260 yuan, and if prices remain unchanged for the next four months, the total value of the order could exceed 200 million yuan, according to China Tracker. & have spent & have spent

The S19 is the latest flagship bitcoin miner on the Bitcoin continent. Core Scientific's 655,000-square-foot data center in the United States will receive and fully deploy the S19 at the end of September. It is understood that the Bitmex continent has previously been divided into different teams according to the region, this order users in the United States is the probability of the Bitmex Continent America team to talk about and deal with. Due to the previous outbreak and internal reasons in Bitmex, this order may be the largest single order obtained by Bitmex so far.

Kevin Turner, President and CEO of Core Scientific (& NBSP; Kevin Turner, chief executive, said, "Core Scientific has received and begun testing bitland's latest ASIC and has successfully increased its existing computing power to 110 /s±3%. With the group's long-term power contracts in place, Core Scientific will be able to meet the digital mining needs of its customers much faster than its competitors."

According to Forbes, Core Scientific operates five mines in the US, four in North Carolina and Georgia and one in Kentucky. These data centres can provide about 381 megawatts of power to run their machines, says Russell Cann, chief customer officer of Core Scientific. They have "the infrastructure to rapidly scale up to 450 megawatts in their current position".

While mining activity and much of the computing power appeared to be concentrated in China, it may not last long. Core Scientific's move is a sign that investment in bitcoin mining by North American investors is heating up. 2019 was a ground-breaking year for Bitcoin mining in North America, as several high-capacity projects, such as Blockstream's own mining facility and the expansion of Germany-based Northern AG into the US, broke ground. Meanwhile, yunnan, Sichuan and other water-rich areas in China have also been affected by disasters and policies. According to the previous report of Dynamic, Yunnan, Sichuan and other places have issued several documents suspected that the local hydropower use will be cleaned up, which will also affect the operation of local mines.
