Alex Masmej, publisher of Personal IC0 Tokens, has launched a new campaign in which users can vote in token control of their lives

Thirty-seven people have voted with the $5,000 token.

In a BlockBeats tweet, personal IC0 token issuer Alex Masmej recently launched Control My Life, asking token holders of his own cryptocurrency, $Alex, to vote for his next daily habit. Since voting began two hours ago, at least 37 people have voted on Masmej's life with 417,000 tokens, or about $5,000.

In April, just after IC0 lost its popularity, a cryptographic entrepreneur named Alex Masmej launched his own concept, "Initial Alex Offering," with a token of his own. ALEX managed to raise $20,000 in five days.

The "Control My Life" campaign will continue for about 50 hours, with $ALEX holders able to vote on how the 23-year-old Parisian goes about her life. For example, a coin holder could force Alex to jog five miles a day (not including two days off) by offering enough tokens to vote. Survive on bitcoin alone; Get up at 6am; Or stop eating red meat.

"You can control me any way you want," he claimed. But to do that, you'll have to stump up. At least 37 people with 417,000 tokens, or about $5,000, have voted on Masmej's living arrangements since voting began two hours ago, he said. Masmej's scrip value also soared by $30,000, meaning his scrip status is now worth $120,000. "There is clearly a winner, but I won't say which one," he said.

Masmej still has ultimate control, of course. No one could force him to do these things -- what was he, a slave? Nor can he fully prove to voters and shareholders that he has done his job.

Sure, he could send tokens to users with "photos of me eating, running, using Bitcoin, texting the time when I wake up" -- but the question is which holder has the energy to monitor him while maintaining a full-time job?

By his own admission, "I think it reflects my honesty: I think people can't tell if I'm lying to them," and if he fails or lies, nothing will come of it. There is no contract, only trust.

"I am very happy to be a pioneer in this field. It would be sad for this new industry not to keep promises, so I will do my best.

According to theBeat reported this April, according to Alex Masmej readme in April 7, 2020, the money will provide money for his next company, the people will be held this in the next three years to obtain the business income of 15% (up to $100000), the dividend will be in the form of DAI or equivalent stable currency quarterly assigned to the holder, and the holders of this part can be traded on Uniswap scrip. On Sunday, Alex Masmej revealed that the launch was a success, raising $20,000 by selling 100,000 tokens to 29 participants.

But Masmej isn't the only one letting holders decide their fate. About a month after Masmej's personal tokens were sold, Kerman Kohli, a 22-year-old engineer from Australia, raised $30,000 for his personal token, '$Kerman.'

Kerman also left life decisions to investors, but told us that "voting wasn't very popular and most of the people in our community are VCS/founders." They don't have long attention spans. " He is still experimenting with the function.
