Ethereum developer kit Truffle announces support for Tezos blockchain

Beat BlockBeats news that Truffle, a suite of well-known ethereum development tools, has announced support for Tezos. Developers can now use Truffle's command-line tools to build, test, and deploy smart contracts on the Tezos blockchain. The current integration is still in the experimental stage, but it plans to expand the tools for Tezos in the future, said a former consensus sys spokesman. The Truffle team also points out that this is their first attempt to support a blockchain that is not an ethereum virtual machine (EVM). EVM is a smart contract execution engine promoted by ethereum.
