The BlockreportsTruffle Suite, a popular development framework on ethereum that has been downloaded more than a million times, has split from ConsenSys and gone its own way.
Truffle Suite, which has received $3m in funding, plans to expand into solutions for corporate customers, according to Blockbeats. The majority of the funding comes from ConsenSys, whose founder, Joe Lubin, is a board member of Truffle. Truffle Suite USES the money to develop an "enterprise-class Suite of blockchain development tools" and hire new talent.
Truffle Suite is teaming up with companies backed by Axoni, Goldman Sachs and jpmorgans, according to the announcement. The companies will work together to develop the AxCore program for the DTCC's trade information warehouse, which processes $10 trillion in transactions a year.
Truffle Suite may soon announce its first corporate customer, too. It plans to integrate with solutions such as the jpmorgan-backed Quorum blockchain and Intel backed Hyperledger Sawtooth.
