BlockBeats news: as of March 31, 2020, according to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin SV (+ 70%), OKB (+ 65%), and DASH (+ 59%) were the top three cryptocurrencies in the top 30 market cap increases.
Bitcoins SV May have been due to a big drop on 312 "black Thursday", but then & NBSP; Bitcoins SV Prices recovered steadily.
OKB's gain was second only to that of & NBSP; Bitcoin SV, up 65% in the last three months. The big news for OKB came in February, when OKEx announced that it had destroyed 700 million okbs that had not yet been issued, making OKB the world's first fully circulated Taiwan dollar.
Turning to the weak cryptocurrencies of the past three months, Maker (MKR) is undoubtedly one of the cryptographic assets most affected by the market crash, with MKR falling more than 30% from the beginning of 2020 to the end of march, making it the second largest cryptographic asset decline. Cosmos (ATOM) was one of the worst performing cryptocurrencies in the last three months, down 54%.
According to the pulse analysis, Cosmos fell so much, in addition to being affected by the big 3.12 move, may have something to do with the team's previous split. As beat BlockBeats previously reported, Cosmos creation team split in February this year when Tendermint Labs director Zaki Manian left and accused Cosmos founder Jae Kwon of inaction. Jessy Irwin, Tendermint's head of security, and Jack Zampolin, its product director, have also resigned.
Maker (MKR) fell more than 30% in the three months, arguably as a direct result of the 3.12 move, when MakerDAO was left with $4 million in outstanding debt after some liquidators won an auction of the ethereum collateral settlement program with a bid from DAI at zero. Then Maker had to use the auction model to fill a huge hole in his finances, which led to his heavy losses.
