Matic: 89% of this month's unlocked tokens were not put to market, and the team and foundation unlocked tokens 100% Staking

BlockBeats reports that matin's first IE0 project, the Matic Network, announced today that 89% of tokens unlocked on April 26, 2020 will not enter the market. 100% of the team and foundation unlock tokens have been allocated to the Staking pledge campaign.

The announcement said that this token unlock, in fact only distributed about 1.3 percent of the total consultant tokens (133,000,000 MATIC). Our advisers have pledged voluntarily to pledge at least 50% of the tokens. Through a series of initiatives, 100% of the ecosystem unlocked tokens were gradually applied to the long-term growth of Matic ecosystem.

The table below details the tokens unlocked in April 2020, including the allocation of tokens for each division, the number of tokens allocated to each section, the number of tokens released and unreleased for each section, and the reasons why some tokens were not released.

It is understood that the Matic Network's mission is to drive large-scale applications through a two-tier capacity expansion program, utilizing decentralization, scalability, and security, and to achieve this by using side chains for down-chain computing, while using Plasma framework and decentralized PoS verifier Network to ensure asset security.
