Zcash next generation network upgrade: to improve interoperability, add hidden features to Coinbase reward delivery addresses

BlockBeats news, Zcash development Company Electric Coin Company announced yesterday that the current Zcash next generation network upgrade Heartwood situation. After upgrading, Zcash network through Flyclient support to improve the interoperability, and make the miners can choose immediately "hidden Coinbase (Shielded Coinbase)" dig rewards in trading, this means the miners in Coinbase trade on a piece of the awarding of address can be hidden.

The community chose the name "Heartwood" as the name for the next upgrade, meaning that the network can grow quickly, be adopted more widely, and increase network scalability. Two packages of Heartwood (ZIPs) is 221 (FlyClient) and ZIP ZIP 213 (Shielded Coinbase). Heartwood's upgraded block heights will be announced in the second quarter.

Flyclient, known as ZIP 211, will support interoperability, cross-chain integration, and lightweight client use cases. ZIP could pave the way for Zcash SPV evidence to be verified in blockchains such as ethereum for efficient cross-chain communication.
