Joseph Lubin: the scalability of ethereum increased by 1000 times within 18-24 months, the old and new chains may have a two-way mechanism

According to Cointelegraph May 13reportsIn an interview, ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin said the blockchain would expand 1,000 times in 18 to 24 months, or a year and a half to two years.

Lubin pointed out that the development of ethereum 2.0, also known as Serenity, will bring significant scalability growth to the ecosystem. Ethereum 2.0 was developed in four phases, with eight teams already working on developing customers for the new chain.

Lubin also promised that "ethereum should have a working test network in the next few months, and perhaps by the end of the year ethereum 2.0 will have a fully operational 'phase zero' ethereum 2.0." Finally, Lubin explained that the new chain can be connected to the old chain in a number of ways, noting that Ether will be able to move from the old chain to the new chain and "there could be a two-way mechanism."
