Sales of ethereum DApp are at record highs, but new app deployments are down

The volume of ether transactions on DApps broke an all-time high set in December

Diar is up to dateThe research,The number of Ethernet transactions on DApps in April broke the previous record set in December. This marks a four-month streak of increased volume on the chain, with 776,000 ETH transactions, Diar said. Nearly $132 million in DApps transactions rose for the fourth straight month to an eight-month high. However, the number of new dapps was the opposite, hitting a 15-month low.

Meanwhile, the number of new applications deployed online is at a low level, approaching 2017 levels. In April 2019, a total of 88 new applications were deployed.

"The continuing decline in new APP deployments since September 2018 came to an end last month," writes Diar, "with the exception of a slew of new DApps late last year that would mark the development peak to date."
