The three-month battle for Aragon doesn't seem to be over yet. In the "agp-41" proposal proposed by Aragon community members, the purchase of $1.5 million worth of DOT tokens to promote Polkadot was opposed by 92.29%.
But in a recent community vote on agp-42: making Aragon focus on ethereum, not Polkadot, 68% of community members opposed Aragon's development to focus strictly on ethereum, and should focus on Polkadot as well.
The Aragon project, launched in 2016, is envisioned as a tool to provide users with the tools to build decentralized organizations that are cryptographically encrypted and run locally on the ethereum blockchain. However, starting in February, the core developers behind Aragon expressed interest in rolling out an application version on the Polkadot blockchain network.
That proposal has since caused a split among Aragon's token holders, and the community is deciding on two competing Aragon governance plans (agps) that would effectively approve or limit such plans in order to decide whether to build applications outside ethereum.
On April 11, Aragon community members proposed "agp-42," which would limit Aragon's spending on Polkadot development in any way or form. But in the end, 68.71% voted against the plan.
However, an analysis found that two of the largest whales voted against AGP42, but a majority of ANT holders voted in favour. Before the polls closed, more than 50 percent of the votes were in favor of the change, with no more than 50 percent against. But two big whale votes changed the outcome.

In other words: if no whales vote, AGP42 will pass. The aragon community voted for AGP42 in general, but it was rejected by 69 percent of the vote because of a whale.
While community governance on the blockchain is a worthwhile endeavor, the poll shows that one clear danger is plutocracy. Unfortunately, the Aragon "Is not even a plutocracy. This is just the governance of a whale, and this is where blockchain governance should be thinking in the future.
