Early Blockstack investors may earn 2,000 times more

According to The Block on April 12reportsSome of the early Blockstack investors may soon become very rich, at least on paper.

On Thursday morning, Blockstack, a decentralized computing network, announced plans to issue $50 million in tokens under a + framework of securities and exchange commission regulations.

According to the document, Blockstack will be offered in three ways:

1. Issue 215 million tokens to early scrip holders at $0.12 each

2. Issue 40 million tokens to high net asset investors at the purchase price of 0.30 usd per token,

34 million tokens as a non-cash payment for the "App Mining" project.

Interestingly, in its 118-page filing, Blockstack has sold about 323 million stack tokens at a price of $0.00012 each to 24 eligible investors who are shareholders of Blockstack PBC. The nominal valuation of $0.00012 was given by independent consulting firm Foresight valuation Group. To get a valuation,Foresight used another traditional software valuation method, called the cost method, based on the cost of developing the underlying software in tokens, according to the filing.

Stack is not Blockstack's first project. In November 2017, Stack's initial launch was more like turning Stack tokens into tokens for early shareholders.

By issuing new shares to eligible buyers, the team will be able to raise funds from strategic long-term holders at significantly higher prices. If these early investors hold tokens, on paper, they may earn more than 1,000 times ($0.12 per token) or 2,000 times ($0.30 per token) on their initial investment.
