Blockstack will undergo a hard fork upgrade on January 17

The upgrade is expected to last 30 blocks and, if all goes well, generate about 300,000 new STX addresses

BlockBeats news, Blockstack engineer Jude said in the forum that Blockstack will be hard forked and upgraded when the bitcoin block reaches 613250 on January 17, 2020.

According to Jude, the upgrade is mainly to implement the accounts that generated the just-completed Blockstack airdrop with blockchain.com.

The upgrade is expected to last 30 blocks and, if all goes well, generate about 300,000 new STX addresses.
